Saturday 16th May saw the team proudly attend the annual Northern Schools Summer Fair, a wonderful afternoon filled with sunshine, laughter, and an incredible sense of community spirit.

This event IS especially meaningful as our former leader was Northern’s devoted Caretaker, whose dedication and lasting impact on the school community continue to be remembered fondly by staff, pupils, and families alike. Their commitment to Northern helped shape the warm and welcoming environment that so many continue to cherish today.

With good weather throughout the afternoon, the fair attracted a fantastic turnout from across the local community. Families enjoyed a variety of stalls, games, refreshments, and activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the school grounds. The event provided a brilliant opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate the school, and support the ongoing work of Northern.

Members of the team were delighted to meet with parents, former pupils, staff, and supporters, all of whom contributed to making the day such a success. The smiles, conversations, and shared memories throughout the event reflected the strong community spirit that Northern continues to inspire.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended, volunteered, organised stalls, and supported the event in any way. The Summer Fair was a true celebration of togetherness and a fitting tribute to a much-loved member of the Northern family.
